Safety note: one should carefully select a neighbor who has both an unreasonable fear of perfectly harmless blue crustacean bugs and a reasonable fear of perfectly harmful guns, so you already know she eschews the latter and has already introduced toxic chemicals into her own nest to rid the joint of the benign former.  When the medics from the asylum show up, she is the one cowering on top of her car with a baseball bat, but is otherwise unarmed, which reduces risk to the SWAT team.
