There is also some evidence that metformin can slow down some cancers. Also
it may slow bone loss.

Obviously drug companies are not funding studies of this, just like
turmeric, which is increasing in use solely due to word of mouth (not that
I have watched every health talk show!).

So many natural remedies - so many side effects from new drugs.
