I would agree that usually the best people to have in positions of power
are the ones that don't like power but are forced by circumstances to have
it, however there are exceptions; Churchill wanted and got to be Prime
Minister in 1939 and I think it's pretty clear the world would be in a much
less desirable state today if he had not.

I always thought you were a libertarian but I guess I was mistaken because
libertarians believe people have the right to live how they want where they
want as long as they're peaceful, and today the USA has the lowest crime
rate its had in many decades and areas of the country with the sharpest
drop in crime have the most undocumented immigrants. That doesn't sound
very hostile to me.

immigrants in Texas committed fewer crimes than native born Americans:
