Nearly all modern technology is based on quantum mechanics. Without QM we
wouldn't have:

lasers: CDs, DVDs, fiber optics cables
Semiconductor based transistors: modern electronics, radios, NAND/flash
memory, DRAM, integrated circuits (CPUs and GPUs)
Atomic clocks: GPS and navigation
Ring-laser gyroscopes for sea and air transportation and navigation
spintronics: MRI machines, hard drive read head
Ligo gravity wave detector
Superconducting magnets, as used in particle accelerators and tokomak
fusion reactors

So as it is, nearly all our modern technology is based on principles we've
only understood since developing quantum mechanics.
