Ja, they apparently recruited a real doctor with acting skills.  University of Texas has confirmed that they granted him a medical degree and photos have been found of Dr(?) Walker with UT classmates:

 

 



 

The story, reported by an unreliable source and carried only on Twitter2.0 is starting to have a vague ring of partial truth to it.
