long-term vs. short-term mate selection and for long term men are as
selective as they can afford. There is substantial homogamy with regards to
intelligence because smart men actually prefer smart women.

There is a myth that men are "intimidated" by smart and strong women but
this is just bitter feminists trying to explain away why no men with
options ever want them.
