I've seen this trend in sweden too. What I find interesting is that this
trend also seems to push like minded people of the opposite tradition
(there are objective values, and it is meaningful to talk about truth)
together.
I always wonder if this is a blessing in disguise on an individual
level? With so many weirdoes defining 3 as 4 because it feels right, the
few people who accept science and define 3 as 3 should have an enormous
advantage!
Of course in the aggregate, it is very harmful for society at large, so
perhaps my theory is only consoling in the short run.

Well, perhaps there will be a country or a movement that sees a nice profit motive in actually
educating people and emphasizing science and technology instead of
subjectivism?
Time will tell!
