I don't think that is necessarily the case. We are selected for the
psychological traits that lead to wars, but given a positive view of
the future, the mechanisms that lead to war stay switched off.

You are not thinking this through. Given nanotech, there isn't
anything China would want to import.
Also, you are making what I think is unlikely, that China will be at
the forefront of AI. I think they will be left in the dust.
