If anyone turned out to have natural ESP abilities (I'm confident that 
won't happen), I think it would be far from good.

It would basically mean that science is wrong, down to the fundamentals. 
That would not be good. Fortunately, it's so unlikely that we can safely 
discount it, I reckon.
