You can't find this out from reviews on Amazon: house slippers advertised
as non-slip will slip on certain surfaces. So..

I experimented and found out that if you treat the soles with spray glue,
you now have real non-slip slippers. One pair that had all the holding
power of Teflon now holds on linoleum and wood. A bit of glue will come
off at first, and then none. I have balance problems because of age and
because of beta blockers and blood pressure pills. This helps. I have not
fallen yet (I can't believe that I used to walk around the house in winter
wearing socks. ) I assume that I will have to treat them again later.
