Hello all:
The Viridian mailing-list pointed me at this interesting little gadget.

Basically you have a small wearable video camera that runs a 30 second tape loop. You can save the current buffer to removable storage by pressing a button.
I pre-ordered one today. It will make a useful tool at work, although I won't get to take it to some work sites. It will also let me attach video clips to my blog. Finally, I wish had one of these for both of the two car accidents I suffered.
What kind of etiquette will develop around these? For instance, I wouldn't have worn this to the funeral I attended last week. I would certainly wear it to a library or out in public, but I don't know if I would wear it into someone else's home. Should a wearer tell people about the camera? Should a wearer conceal it? Should a wearer offer to provide copies of the video to those in it? What sort of precedents exist?
