I think that the techno-libertarian anarchists were in Northern California
-in Silicon Valley and San Francisco.  They did trickle down to Southern
California, but we had so many spiritualists there that Northern California
didn't want to get too close to us :-)

Regardless, let's be appreciative of early transhumanists who were radical
and brilliant enough to go against the grain.  They are a benefit to all
who know them and respect their contributions to transhumanity.

I toast Eric Drexler for being there!
