Of course, he does not have the Vilya ring. If one takes steps back from
all of this (xyzzyCo) one can wonder whether their might be some unique
combination of human traits (a leader?) [1] or discovered
compu-bio-synthetics (hopefully implantable) that will eventually lead us to
true "self-actualization" (for lack of a better term) Of course this gets
all messed up by the copies one has pursuing different future vectors and
the problem of reintegration of self-derivatives. Tolkien did not
anticipate this or chose to ignore it.
