Ouch.  Major embarrassment.

Of course, I should have said the inherent stability of a triangle over
a two dimensional string, but a tetrahedron is sooo cool.

Speaking pragmatically, I think you're right.  Now, how to justify a
tetrahedral 4-way relationship...
