The purpose of airport security is to make sure everybody gets into the
right paranoid, "travel is a privilege and not a right" mindset that
convinces them that it is safe and worthwhile.

I have been thinking of writing a paper on airport security ethics for a
while now, in particular how it pertains to enhancements like wearables
and implanted magnets.
