If you burn organics, or exhale CO2, you could fixate some
or most of it by a photobioreactor just few 100 l big. Possibly
producing food as a result (spirulina and chlorella might be
not suitable as a sole food, but it's more than ok as a supplement).

Actually, if civilisation is to collapse, algaculture for food
could become rather important.
