[ExI] Italy's Social Capital

Hi Serafino,

My embarrassment and ignorance knows no bounds. First,
how is "Duce" pronounced? (I'm reading a book: Mussolini's
Italy.) Would that be (to an English only speaker) something
like

    Eel Doo-chay?

Second, so "Dux" means leader as I learn from
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dux

How was that pronounced *by the Romans*?

Is it still pronounced the same way?

Also, who planted the trees?

Thanks,
Lee
