The 'DVX' drawn in profile :-)
... on the Pietralata mountain,
down the Gola del Furlo.
[This is little known even in Italy]

The Forestal Corp (La Milizia Forestale) made (carved or,
to say it better, 'adjusted') Mussolini's profile
on that mountain (1934-1936). Later it has been partially
destroyed, for political-economical reasons.

Do not think it was inspired by Mount Rushmore.
The original idea of 'mountain sculpture' comes directly
from Michelangelo, who planned something big and great
near Carrara, on a 'white marble' mountain.
