Hi Anna,
I don't believe that the subject is "closed" per se
(at least that's the assumption I've been operating
under). But if you would like to discuss it here, you
should probably prepare yourself for some fairly
strong anti-religion sentiments. And you might want to
frame the topic in some way that's relevant to H+, or
politics, or memes, etc. A "pure" religion discussion
will probably rise above the moderators' radar. The
primary reason that religion is shunned here is that
in general it has caused and continues to cause a
great deal of human suffering and dysfunction. And it
tends to discourage people from seeking truth and
thinking for themselves. That's not to say that it has
no value at all, it has provided some comfort to some
people. But we tend to look at big-picture net
effects, here.
