Yes. I recall reading somewhere that for reasons of public safety,
"inflammable" was changed intentionally to "flammable" by the Powers That
Be (FTC? Congress? Not sure) because too many people misconstrue
"inflammable" to mean non-ignitable.
The language cops really do exist. :)
