Usually my comments appear to be ignored - I presume from the fact
that they're typically tangential to the original poster's point.

Perhaps Black's sure shot is due to the fact that he is an android and
he also can't be killed with bullets.  Perhaps White knows he has very
little chance for survival and does a completely random thing like
shoot himself for his "cause."  Or perhaps White forfeits his first
shot to gain enough time to complete an identity upload or to destroy
the hardware running backups of Brown and Black.  Again, these are all
way outside the scope of the original question.
