As Stathis, who does this sort of thing for a living, pointed out, of 
course there is. Antipsychotic meds (or ETC) can relieve the madness 
or depression that prompts suicidal ideation. Doesn't always work, 
but it's hard to get people to take meds when they're roaming around 
the streets shitting in their pants.
