Once the argument was moved to lobbying and politics and PR campaigns then
Big Carbon can do this sooooo much better than scientists that science was
swept aside.
So, carry on as normal for the big corporations. Once New York floods, then
there will be more big profits to be made."

Science has not lost because science is not a fait accompli. Just because we
lack a skill set for finding solutions to the problem does not mean anyone
wins.
