without giving much of a clue as to how she views those who,
for example, employ the term "meat cages".

I don't happen to use that term because it's unnecessarily
demeaning to a rather wonderful machine---but there is a
widely shared view hiding therein that I too embrace: the
sooner we can escape into safer, widely distributed---and
disembodied---hardware, the better.

Perhaps all of us who do embrace the transhumanist vision
do in fact agree about this, for once.
