QT and GR are descriptions of the universe at scales that differ by more than 40
orders of magnitude. Both are accurate descriptions of reality in their
respective domains of validity but neither are isomorphic to reality per se. To
demonstrate an analogous situation, examine the following picture:

What is depicted? Einstein might say it is a picture of Steve Jobs. Schrodinger
might say it was a picture of a collection of Apple products. The descriptions
contradict, but both are accurate.
