This depends of course by the context - during a famine it is probably best
to eat all you can every time you can - but in general terms I am inclined
to agree with you with a slight qualification: "dieters should eat high fat
foods *with low frequency*".

In the lifestyle of hunters and gatherers, the limiting factor was more
probably the sparseness, not the scarcity of meals.
