No, I didn't think that. It was just a very bad choice of wording.
In many respects, I think we are all on the same team, it is true, such as
when it comes to living longer, healthier
lives, and for our support for those technologies that will make this
occur. But there are very real reasons
why there are different groups regarding how we should approach that
developing future, and I see
concerns among technolibertarians regarding the protection of individual
choices that are often at
odds with technoprogressives and that are not shared with
technoprogressives, not to mention,
the specifics of the goals themselves. These are no small matters.
