As you know, I am philosophically inclined to dismiss out of hand claims
that emu/simulations would be different from the Real Thing in some
ineffable way, but as a matter of personal preference I would like to keep
my current body around, working and in good shape as long as the
inconveniences of doing that become really blatant.

In fact, I do not even like much changing my car... :-)

So, in my priority list human enhancement comes first, life extension
second, full-body cryonic suspension third, and plastination/cerebral
scanning/full-life recording, etc. a distant fourth.
