Good advice, I think, Eugen. A friend of mine who intends to hold his coins for 10+ years plans to print them out and store them in a mason jar. He is going to bury the jar in his back yard, with some desiccant. I suggested he bury another jar containing a thumb-drive digital record of his coins, just in case.

I read an article yesterday about some poor sap who had something like 7,000 coins on his hard drive. It crashed and he had no back up. Those coins today would be worth on the order of $1 million.
