Absolutely.
And getting back on-topic, what about technology?
Technology has been a powerfuk driver towards monoglottism in innumerable
fashions, but once real-time human-level translation becomes ubiquitous,
what is really the point of drafting a paper in English rather than in
Milanese dialect once Mongolian readers can appreciate it in their native
language anyway?
