​To me, and maybe this is really overly simplistic, epistemology breaks
down into:

Rationalism, Intuitionism, Empiricism, and
Authoritarianism.  ​

​Each can hold truths  that are false or simply not applicable in any other
system​.  Rational theological arguments are meaningless in empiricism.
