No, it isn't.  Not if said suicide can be prevented just as well by
cheaper, more immediately available means.

"Space based or not" is the problem.  If the same benefits from using
renewables can be had from ground-based solar far sooner and for far less
money than for space-based solar, then why not claim that benefit sooner
and cheaper?  That's part of the core of the "too expensive" objection.
