Interesting composing technique: Push a piano down the stairs, record
the resulting cacophony then write the notes down with triple-tempo.
This really does show that beauty is in the eye (or ear) of the beholder.
On the other hand, one thing that's missing from this thread, is any
mention of Bach. To me, he stands head and shoulders (and probably
torso and waist) above all the other composers. You mentioned diamonds,
and Bach's music at its best is pure transparent crystal.
