Unless they are duped into believing there is only one other serious
candidate on the ballot, who is even worse.  (Note the number of people who
will never - even if they dislike both choices and they live in a state
whose electors are predetermined, so the only thing they can do with their
vote is to protest - seriously consider voting third party.)

Case in point: that's a 3 in 4 chance that the presidential candidate who
has not demonstrated nearly as much interest in this issue will be elected.
