Then you have the problem of communicable diseases. (And there are a
lot of them!).
How do you stop people wandering about spreading disease? Society has
to restrict their personal freedom in order to protect everyone else.
Compulsory individual medical treatment and mass medication / spraying
is becoming more common as the threat of antibiotic-resistant
infections grows.
