Yes, that speed means that the file wasn't going out to the internet.
Either to a thumb drive as you suggest or to another computer on the
same local network.
That's why some experts are saying it was an inside job.
You have to ask why did the DNC deny the FBI access to their computers?
If it really was a question of national importance, why didn't the FBI
confiscate the two computers concerned?
The 'Russians did it' seems to be a cover story to cover up
shenanigans within the DNC.
