Shinto. Most Japanese would say they are both Shinto and Buddhist.

Roman Polytheism. All forms of worship, all cults acceptable, as long as they do not interfere with important Roman Religious Functions. 

I think the idea of “only one religion” mostly only applies to monotheism.
