I have been away for a coupla wk camping, mostly away from internet. The
first things I checked upon my return to bandwidth is the covid rate in my
county:

Can someone help me understand why the chart says Cumulative COVID-19
Deaths, but that comment down that the bottom seems contradictory:
"Deaths provided in this dashboard do not necessarily mean that the
individuals died from COVID-19."
OK, um. sure. So. why are they in the database under "Covid-19 deaths"?
Over time, the number of people coming to the county coroner with Covid
antibodies accumulates.
If I count the new case rate from about 2 wks ago and compare to the current
death rate, I too am getting about half a percent:
