 the artworks that imitate the life I live.  None of the Hollyweird films
describe even slightly anything I know  spike


But spike, most people's live are dull.  They don't want to see dull
lives.  They want fantasy.  Would I like to see a movie based on a week of
your life?  Hmmm?  The 20th century featured scores of supermen and other
fantasy creatures in movies, books, TV, video games, cartoons.  That was
the century of neoteny:  the persistence of the juvenile into adulthood.
Look at me:  I am nearly 78 and read sci-fi and fantasy.  Maybe not the
Power Rangers.
