Ohio has a reputation as a swing state, but it's been moving redward the 
past few years.

My county is broadly blue-leaning, but local elections often are 
competitive.

More locally, the city is solidly blue, the outskirts are infrared, and 
I live in the deep purple region between the two.

Overall, voting in my district does feel meaningful compared to other 
places I have seen.
