I’m not sure if it will die down, new laws creating special administrative regions will develop, or if it will turn into armed insurrection. I don’t personally know much to compare it to except Hong Kong.

Any time anyone takes physical possession of products (of any kind) the risk starts there. The risk it fails to make it to the end point is non-zero. Someone somewhere assumes that risk.

I go on Google maps street view and see that there are 4 and 5 story condos there, which means there are plenty of residents. In any group of residents, there are people who are not sympathizers, who are antagonistic to those who are turning their neighborhood into an autonomous zone or organized protest. They were OK with things as they were before. They want to just be CH with no AZ nor OP.

I am trying to envision what it would be like if someone started erecting barriers around my neighborhood and claiming to be the new leader.
