[ExI] why sleep?

Due to the fact that Dolphins are not impaired with recall and learning tasks while “sleeping”, I would imagine that “right-brain you” and “left-brain you” would not in fact be distinct “yous”. Dolphins seem to share memories in some way during their sleep. 

Perhaps us golden oldies would never be able to sleep that way and only kids could learn to do it, so that structures in the brain would grow correctly to facilitate that sleep style. 

It would be interesting though if people experienced different handedness. “Sorry my signature looks wack, not used to being a lefty!”
