Darin, I have a better one, a criterion used by California lawmakers: 

 

An “assault rifle” is a rifle which has ergonomic features.  

 

The Cal-legislature doesn’t like the notion of rifles suitable for people with physical handicaps.  The American With Disabilities Act does not apply to that one area.
