[ExI] Mussolini and the trains

As always, having not much time to keep up or participate in the discussion here, but some have brought up the old saw about Mussolini getting the trains to run on time. This is actually not true. I first read about it not being so in Davíd Hackett Fischer’s wonderful book _Historians’ Fallacies: Toward a Logic of Historical Thought_, but here’s the Snopes entry on this:
