Not really, no.  Less effective at many things than current approaches,
though.  "Sad" is more accurate than "hideous".

Is that the future you envision?


Only insofar as there are certainly people who are probably going to try it
someday.  They can go off and essentially enter into solipsism - and be
diminished by their "army of me" approach.  They might at least be happy,
though.
