Sure but one can imagine an even easier solution: haul every electronic voting machine out into the parking lot, pass out sledge hammers and smash them to flinders.  Drive a steam roller over the debris, as the people cheer.  Vote with paper ballots.  Count every one by hand.  Shoulda done that years ago.
