I think one has to separate between perceptual qualities and reactions to perceptual qualities. Two people midget agree that Ralph’s hair is pink but disagree on whether they like his hair being pink.

Even professional taste testers tend to use neutral language like ‘has tomato complex taste’ rather than saying ‘it’s gross’ or ‘I can eat this until I puke.’ ;)

This isn't to say there’s no relativity in perception, but to separate out the different aspects of it.
