pump, some drivers may now be looking for an alternative. With his
electric unicycle, Fall River resident Rick Madeira is ahead of the
game.
“It literally takes me four minutes to get to work, versus about 8
minutes in a vehicle,” he said.
He’s allowed to ride it on the sidewalk, but usually sticks to the
road, keeping to the shoulder when possible to avoid cars. The
unicycle’s small size means he can move to the front of the line at
red lights like cyclists, which saves him lots of time, he said.

These electric unicycles are self-balancing (like a Segway) and
controlled by body movements. But they still need a bit of practice to
master the technique.  :)
