*Maybe some people with a deep seated belief of the uniqueness of thehuman
soul and spirit feel at an unconscious level, that they are beingthreatened
and that is where the emotion springs from.*Yes, exactly.
People that have religious beliefs feel threatened, but also people that
feel marginalized like some minorities. I agree that we need to be careful
that the AIs are not perpetuating some of the mistakes of the past like
taking advantage of groups that are not similar to ours but we can solve
this by stopping technological progress or actually discriminating against
these new minds exactly how it was done against these minorities in the
past. This why I hate wokism because it has nothing to do with making the
world more equitable and just but it is all about very superficial and
manipulative identity politics.
