Sorry - you have confounding here.  Cell phone use and any other variable
you choose to correlate it with are confounded by all the other stuff that
has happened in those years.  Watch for assuming correlation means
causation bias.

On the same note, violent crime is down.  Watch for all the theories to
account for it.  All will be subject to confounding.  bill w
